Creative Communicator

Hi!

My name is Jessica, and I’m a creative communicator.

I hold a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Theatre (acting) from Dalhousie University, and I’ve recently received a graduate certificate with Honours in Public Relations from Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC).

During my studies, I was awarded the Diversity in Communications Bursary from the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, which recognizes emerging communicators whose voices contribute to more inclusive and representative storytelling.

I've worked professionally in the arts, entertainment and hospitality sector for over a decade, which has shaped how I communicate with others.

I look forward to combining storytelling with strategy to help clients connect with their audiences authentically.

Work philosophy

My background in performance has taught me to lead with empathy, curiosity and imagination.

As a creative communicator, I strive for authentic storytelling. I'm particularly interested in the in-between, where audiences interpret tone and emotion differently, shaping the way storytelling can be experienced uniquely yet universally.
