From an early age, I found my voice in theatre. That passion led me to study acting at Dalhousie University, where I completed my degree in theatre with honours. During my time at Dalhousie, I also trained at Neptune Theatre in Halifax, N.S., taking their pre-professional training program. After graduating, I spent more than a decade in Toronto building my craft through theatre, film and television - including travelling to New York City to train at the Neighbourhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, one of the most respected acting conservatories in the world, to study the Meisner Technique.

My love for storytelling took a new shape when I completed the Kids’ TV Writing Intensive through BIPOC TV & Film, led by award-winning writer John May. That experience helped me become a stronger writer and storyteller.

Naturally, public relations became my next chapter. I wanted to sharpen my writing, expand my strategic thinking, and bridge the gap between the creative industries I love and the landscapes that amplify them.
